Designer for a Day
Many clients aren’t sure what they want to do, or what they need, and committing to full services is too much of a big step.
Our ‘Day with a Designer’ service allows you to assess yourself, your needs and your home, all with a trauma-informed designer, who can help you understand yourself, as well as your home.
It’s a day of self reflection, as well as exciting creative collaboration as we talk through your homes potential, and consider what you need to feel more grounded, safe and at peace in your spaces.
The day consists of:
An hour (approx) Rest Test, where we go through a process of gaining understanding of your nervous system, where it’s at, and what is might be trying to communicate to you.
A home walk-through, taking conversations, ideas, observations and the results of your Rest Test, to brainstorm, collaborate and come up with creative solutions for you.
A full report sent afterwards, which enables you to move forward with any renovations you may choose to do. This gives you a trauma-informed design plan - tailored to you!

Designer for a Day - ONLINE
Maybe you’d like to have your Nervous System audit, and see how aligned your home is to your needs - but you don’t live locally!
We have developped an Online Version of this service for those who want to approach their home in this way.
Our ‘Day with a Designer’ ONLINE service allows you to assess yourself, your needs and your home, all with a trauma-informed designer, who can help you understand yourself, as well as your home.
The day consists of:
- A nervous System Audit, (Rest Test)
- A home audit, the online package requires some photos of videos to be supplied agead if tie, along with any floor plans that are available.
- A clear expectation on how many rooms are being addressed ahead of time.
- A follow-up eport on how aligned these two aspects are.
- A follow-up report with design suggestions, including 1 designboard with shoppable links and paint codes per room.
- Upgrade Option includes:
- floor plan and layout for the design board, to correlate with your room, so you know exactly what to place where, and which colours will go where. This also includes a 3D rendering of the room, to help with visualisation.
